Life Is Like a Garden is a zine about growth and learning to let things bloom in their own time. Inspired by my family’s backyard garden, the zine explores the ways that existing can feel a lot like tending to a garden: some seasons are full of growth, some are quiet, and sometimes things need a little time before they’re ready to bloom. At its heart, it’s a reminder that growth doesn’t always happen on our own timeline, and that it’s okay to be patient with ourselves along the way. The zine was also featured at the Miami Zine Fair, where I got to share it alongside a wonderful community of artists and makers.
